Description

A 17th to 18th century farmhouse of rubble stone construction, originally arranged in an L-shape. The house is two storeys high with an attic. It has stone-tiled roofs with two gabled dormers and end wall stacks to the front, with a brick stack on a stone base at the south end. The front facade has a three-window arrangement. The outer windows on the first floor are four-light casements with moulded and stopped leading edges to the lintels. The centre window is a two-light casement. The original windows are iron-framed with leaded lights. The ground floor windows are replacements, consisting of four-light casements. A central gabled stone porch has been added. A rear wing features an end wall stack and a single gabled dormer, with two- and four-light windows, some of which retain original iron casements.
