Description

Sutton Wick House is a house dated 1712, as indicated by a datestone on the first floor. It has a plinth of coursed squared stone and is constructed of coursed squared stone with an old plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The house is two storeys and an attic, with a five-window range. The central entrance features a four-panel door with an overlight and a flat hood supported by brackets. The windows are mostly 12-pane unhorned sashes, with a 9-pane unhorned sash on the first floor centre; ground floor windows have flat stone arches with keystones. A flat stone band runs between the ground and first floors, and the eaves are coved. A hipped full dormer is located centrally on the attic floor, featuring a two-light casement. Sloping roof-lights are present to the left and right of centre. The interior has not been inspected. Stone walls attached to the front of the house form a forecourt with a wrought-iron gateway opposite the front door.
