Description
38 Henleys Lane is a house dating from the mid-17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century and an addition to the rear. The ground floor is constructed of stone coursed rubble, while the first floor features small timber-framing with arched bracing and roughcast infill. The roof is an old plain-tile half-hipped design, topped with a central brick ridge stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range positioned at right angles to the lane. There is a plank door to the right and 2-light casements at all openings. A 19th-century gabled full dormer is located on the left side, and there is a 17th-century wood angled-oriel window on the first floor of the left return, which has a gabled roof. The interior has not been inspected.
