Description
No. 72 Vineyard is a late 18th-century building constructed of red brick. The left section of the building is three stories high and features a hipped tile roof, while the right section is two stories. The facade includes three windows arranged in a 1:2 pattern, with brick arches and double-hung sashes that have glazing bars. The ground floor has three windows, which are currently boarded up. The left-hand door is also boarded up, while the central entrance features a four-panel wooden door set within a pilastered architrave, topped by a glazed rectangular fanlight and a flat hood supported by carved brackets. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 70 to 74 (even), the Hospital of St John, and Nos. 86, 90A, and 90.
