Description

This barn, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 20 meters southeast of Park End. It features weatherboarding over a timber frame set on a limestone rubble plinth, topped with a half-hipped old tile roof. The barn has a five-bay plan with a central threshing floor. The front of the barn includes early to mid-19th century outshuts on either side of a central midstrey, which has six pigeon-holes and a half-hipped roof. Inside, there is a collar-truss roof with clasped purlins. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
