Description

This chest tomb, dating from around 1769, is located approximately 22 meters north of the porch of the Church of St. Mary in Ewelme. It is made of limestone and has a rectangular plan. The tomb features a moulded stone base and two panels with moulded surrounds on each side, along with single panels on each end. The top of the tomb is also moulded, and it bears an inscription dated 1769.
