Description
The lodge, located approximately 300 meters south of Shirburn Castle, dates from the early 19th century and is reputed to be designed by John Nash. It is constructed of coursed and dressed limestone, with some areas covered in stucco, and features a late 19th to early 20th century tiled roof. The building is two stories high with a one-bay front that includes a blocked chamfered two-centred doorway, a pointed lancet window, and a castellated parapet that extends over the wall to the left, which has a pointed chamfered archway. To the right, there is a 19th-century cottage attached. The interior and rear of the lodge have not been inspected.
