Description

The Old Smithy is a granary dating from the 18th century, which has been converted into a chicken hut. It is raised on staddle stones and features weatherboarding over a light timber frame, topped with a gabled roof made of old tiles. The interior has had its floors removed, but it retains old roof timbers. This building is included for its group value context.
