SHIRBURN SHIRBURN PARK SU69NE 4/153 Rotunda approx. 125m. N of Shirburn Castle

Rotunda. 1741, by Westby Gill of the Office of Works for Thomas Parker, Earl of Macclesfield. Portland stone; roof has collapsed. Mid-Georgian style. Ionic columns rise to moulded and modillioned cornice. Inspection not possible. Description compiled from photographs and printed sources.
