Description
Waterperry House granary, located approximately 90 meters to the north, is a granary dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features weatherboarded timber framing and a Welsh-slate roof, with a plan consisting of 6 by 2 bays. The building is one storey plus a loft. The ground floor is open, supported by curved braces that rise from the posts. The posts at the east end have solid hanging knees and may be remnants of an earlier structure. The upper floor includes a hipped half-dormer loft door at the east end, and the roof is shallow-pitched and hipped. Inside, there are five chamfered and stopped cross beams, along with four bays of chamfered joists that remain intact.
