Description
New Farmhouse and the barns located approximately 50 metres north are likely from the early 18th century. The barns feature a flint base with brick dressings, large timber framing, and weatherboarding, topped with a plain old tile roof. The structure consists of a 5-bay barn and a 3-bay barn arranged end to end, with an aisle to the north and probably a 19th-century aisle to the south. There are two hipped roof midstreys to the south, each with plank doors, and plank doors leading to flush entries on the north side. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, the barns have jowled wall posts; the 5-bay barn features a queen-post and strut roof with windbraces, while the 3-bay barn has a queen-strut roof.
