Description
This is a house dating from the 16th century, with additions from the 17th century and alterations in the 20th century. It is timber-framed with brick and flint infill, and has a tile roof, with a brick stack. Originally a hall house, a cross-wing was added to the left. The main range is two storeys high and three bays wide, alongside a one-bay cross-wing which is also two storeys high, plus an attic. The cross-wing has 20th-century casement windows to all openings. The main range features medieval diamond mullion windows on the first floor, and 20th-century casements and glazed doors on the ground floor. A ridge stack is located at the junction of the main range and the cross-wing. The return side reveals queen post roof beams.
