Description
No 1 on New Inn Hall Street is a house and shop dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It is a three-storey building constructed of plastered rubble and timber framing, featuring cellars, a shop front, two gables, and a Welsh slate roof. The first floor has an overhang that includes one 18th to 19th century three-light sash window and one single sash window. On the second floor, there is a three-light sash window, with all windows having moulded wood frames and cornices. The south side of the building is made of rubble, partly covered in stucco, and has modern two-light casement windows. Inside, the property contains three original stone fireplaces and notable roof timbers.
