Description
Manor Farm is a farmhouse with origins dating back to the 17th century, although it has undergone significant alterations. The building has a rectangular plan positioned at right angles to the road and faces west. It is two stories high and constructed of roughcast rubble, featuring two large gables with a smaller attic dormer on each side. The roof is modern and covered with tiles, and there are two modern yellow brick chimney stacks. The windows include three-light and single-light sash windows. At the rear, on the east side, there is a small brick porch with a stone slate roof and three-light casement windows, one of which is from the 18th century while the others are modern. Notably, the north gable end displays a medieval stone head of a king, which may have served as a corbel.
