Description
Linton House, part of St Peter's College, is a two-storey ashlar building constructed in 1797. Originally known as Wyaston House for the Oxford Canal Company, it was acquired in 1878 to serve as the rectory for St Peter-le-Bailey church. The building now functions as the entrance lodge and chambers for the college. A new porch made of Clipsham stone was added by T Rayson in 1954, and significant internal alterations took place in 1960.
