Description

The Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division at the University of Oxford, located at No 9 Parks Road, was built in 1913 by architect P Morley Horder. The three right-hand bays of the building are from the early 19th century, while the rest of the structure was constructed to match this style. The building features painted brickwork and is two storeys tall with six windows that have sash frames and glazing bars, along with external shutters on the upper floor. A six-panel door replaces the third window from the left and is framed by a surround with a broken pediment in the 18th-century style. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
