Description
St Catherine's College Master's House, built between 1961 and 1966, is designed by Arne Jacobsen. The building features narrow buff brick laid in a raking stretcher bond and has a flat roof. It is two storeys high with a rectangular plan. The ground floor is constructed of brick and includes vertical strip windows. The wall extends beyond the house to the north and south, forming the garden wall. The upper floor has vertical panels of metal cladding and vertical strip windows at intervals, while the end elevations are fully glazed. This house is an integral part of the planned layout of St Catherine's College.
