Description
Lincoln College features a front quadrangle with North, East, and West ranges, dating back to 1485, while the North range and most of the East and West ranges were built in 1437. The building was refaced on Turl Street, with battlements added in 1824; the tower's battlements were removed in 1966. The North range facing Brazenose Lane was refaced in 1824 and again partly in 1925. Inside the North range, the Senior Common Room has panelling from 1684, crafted by Arthur Frogley. The West range was re-roofed with Westmorland slates in 1957.
