Description
Trinity College, East Range, dates from 1417 to 1421 and was built as part of Durham College. The Old Library on the first floor features 15th-century stained glass, along with bookcases and fittings from 1618. Attics were added in 1602, although the dormers are modern. In 1687, the former President's Lodging was remodeled, and two staircase bays were added to the east side. The building now has a high-pitched roof covered with Welsh slate.
