Description
Tunbridge Wells Central Railway Station, located on the north side of Vale Road, was built before 1845. The station features a central section that is two storeys high and constructed of red brick. It has a hipped slate roof adorned with a paired bracket cornice and long and short quoins. The front facade includes seven sash windows, with the ground floor showcasing five round-headed windows and a stringcourse. There is a double doorcase flanked by pilasters. To the left, there are three sash windows, while the right side has five. A wooden and glass verandah supported by cast iron columns extends the full length of the front.
