Description
The south east lychgate to the Chapel of Ease of St Luke is a lychgate, likely built in the 1870s, around the same time as the chapel designed by Basil Champneys. It is constructed from timber and features a clay-tile roof. This lychgate is simpler than the north west lychgate, with a gabled roof supported by short, shaped brackets above a shallow Tudor arched lintel resting on two plain posts. It has a pair of rustic gates that resemble those found on the north west lychgate. This structure is included for its group value with the church.
