Description

These are mid-19th century almshouses located on the north side of Snoll Hatch Road in East Peckham. The building features a red brick plinth with painted roughcast above. It has a plain tiled hipped roof, with stock brick ridge stacks along the spinal ridge. The structure is single-storey and consists of a five-bay central recess flanked by slightly lower one-bay wide projecting wings. The windows are pointed arch casements, and there are four boarded and ribbed doors located on the inner sides of the wings and on each side of the central window. The windows and doors are adorned with tall keystones and thin imposts.
