Description

The building at 4-6 Trinity Square dates from the early 19th century. It is a four-storey building with basements, constructed of brown brick and topped with a stone coping. Number 4 has two sash windows. Numbers 5 and 6 have two sash windows each, plus one blank window, with some original glazing bars remaining. All windows have brick arches and stone sills. Number 4 features a three-light bay window on the left side, extending over two floors. The right side of the building incorporates round-headed doorcases with keystones; the arches are internally reeded, and there are pilasters either side. Steps lead up from the street to a paved area protected by railings. The building forms a group with numbers 1 to 7 and 9 to 24 Trinity Square, along with the railings outside numbers 1 to 7, and numbers 1 & 2 Albion Place.
