Description
The Cinque Ports Public House is a building dating from around 1830, featuring three storeys and a basement, with a colourwashed exterior and stone coping. The front has four sash windows with intact glazing bars and shutters. The ground floor showcases an elaborate bar front adorned with pilasters and "Gothick" pointed lights, along with a modern wrought iron balcony above. The side elevation varies in height, with part of it rising to four storeys and part to two, containing a total of five sash windows. The ground floor also includes a three-light canted bay window. The Cinque Ports Public House is part of a group that includes Nos 16 to 48 (consecutive) and the Hert Hotel.
