Description
No. 5 Albert Terrace is a building dating from around 1840. It is four storeys high with a basement, constructed from brown brick. The building features stone coping and a dropped moulded eaves cornice. On the front, there are two sashes with intact glazing bars, and the first and second floor sashes are set within round-headed arcading. The first floor has a cast iron balcony. The ground floor includes a three-light curved bay window. To the right, there is a round-headed doorcase with a keystone, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panelled door, which is accessed by nine steps leading to the street. The area is enclosed with railings that have urn finials. This building is part of a group with Nos. 3 to 19A.
