Description

The horse wheel, located 5 yards north of Wingfield Farmhouse, is a structure from the 18th century used for drawing water. It features a timber frame with weatherboarded housing and a corrugated iron roof, which is partly supported by a rear wall made of brick and flint. The design includes a horizontal beam on a single post at the rear and two posts at the front. Additionally, it has a winding drum, a horse beam, and a brake mounted on a central vertical post.
