Description
Banks Terrace is an early 19th-century terrace of eleven houses, located on the High Street in Mile Town, Sheerness. The buildings are constructed of brick with a slate roof and stuccoed cornices. Each house has eleven sash windows to each of the three floors, with painted window reveals. The ground floor features alternate glass-panelled doors with bay windows situated between them. A painted brick plinth runs along the ground floor, above which is a balcony with east-facing iron railings. Number 266 has a square bay window with sash windows on both the ground and first floor.
