Description

Nos 79 and 81 on High Street in Milton Regis were originally the Red Lion Inn. This timber-framed building was refaced in the early 19th century. It has two storeys and attics, with a stuccoed exterior. The steep slate roof features one dormer. On the first floor, there are two sashes with intact glazing bars, and a round panel is located in the center. The ground floor has modern shop fronts. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 65, 67 to 71 (odd), 71A, 73, 73A, 75 to 87 (odd), 87A, 89 to 95 (odd), 95A, 97, 97A, 99, and 99A.
