Description
The Church of All Saints, dating from the 12th century, was rebuilt between 1873 and 1874 by architect William Burges in an early Gothic style. It is constructed of knapped flints with stone dressings and features a tiled roof. The church has a four-bay nave and a north aisle, with a lower tower located at the north. The west gable showcases a large plate tracery rose window, with a west door beneath it, sheltered by a lean-to porch. The north aisle is gabled and illuminated by plate-tracery windows. The chancel is apsed and includes lancet windows. Inside, there is a 12th-century north arcade supported by round piers, a tie beam roof over the nave, and a boarded wagon roof in the chancel. The church is not currently in ecclesiastical use.
