Description

Elizabeth Cottages comprises three dwellings dating from the 15th century, originally a Wealden Hall House that has since been subdivided. The building has a timber-framed structure, now encased in weatherboarding, and sits on a brick base. The roof is tiled. There are four modern casement windows. The first floors of each end of the building overhang, supported by projecting brackets with coved eaves. Three later flat wooden weather hoods are present. A large external brick chimneystack is also visible. The interior features exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces.
