Description

No. 4 High Street is a late medieval timber-framed building, mostly hidden by shop premises on the ground floor. It features a very high-pitched tiled roof with a half-gabled cross wing on the right side. The building has two storeys and two windows, with modern casements; the left window includes a pent half-dormer. A small amount of timber framing with plaster filling can be seen above the shop front on the right, while the other elevations are finished in brick and tile hanging.
