Description
Ash Tree House is an 18th-century building located on the west side of The Street in Horton Kirby. It stands two storeys high with attics and is constructed of red brick featuring grey headers. The side elevations are made of flint with red brick dressings, complemented by a brick stringcourse and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is tiled and includes two dormers. The house has five casement windows with cambered head linings, while the ground floor windows feature ogee arches. The entrance is marked by a doorcase with fluted pilasters, an open pediment, a rectangular fanlight, and a door made up of six moulded and fielded panels. At the rear, there is a catslide roof.
