Description
This is an oasthouse built in the 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The ground floor of the rear wall is made of coursed sandstone with brick dressings, while the rest of the stowage and kilns are constructed from red and grey brick in Flemish bond. The roofs are covered with plain tiles. The stowage is broad and rectangular, featuring two square kilns at each gable end. Originally, the stowage had two storeys. It has a half-hipped roof, while the kilns have pyramidal roofs topped with cowls. There is a boarded first-floor door located to the left of the centre of the stowage, accompanied by a three-light casement window beside it. Additionally, there is a boarded ground-floor door with a segmental head towards the right end of the ground floor.
