Description

This is a pair of 18th-century terraced houses on Sandling Road. They are two storeys and have an attic, built of painted brick. The roof is a tiled mansard roof with four dormers. Number 65 has a weatherboarded, half-hipped gable. The houses feature four sash windows, and most of the original glazing bars are intact. The doorcases are simple in design, and there is a plinth at the base. These houses, numbers 63 to 90, together with the Flowerpot Public House and the embankment and railings opposite, form a notable group.
