Description

The oasthouse at Bydews Farm, located to the south-west of the former granary, is likely from the early 19th century. It is a two-storey structure made of yellow brick with a slate roof. The building features three casks set on a ragstone base: one circular with a conical roof and two square with pyramidal roofs, all topped with tiled roofs that have fantails. This oasthouse is part of a group that includes Bydews Place, a dovecote in the grounds of Bydews Place, a cottage to the north-west of Bydews Place, Bydews Farmhouse, and the former granary to the south-west of Bydews Farmhouse.
