Description

Nos 20 and 22 Upper Fant Road are a pair of houses built around 1860. They are two storeys tall with attics and a basement, and the exterior is finished in stucco. Each house features two gables adorned with carved bargeboards, pendants, and finials. The corners have long and short quoins. There are four windows in total, with the two central windows set in a projecting section. The windows are sashes with intact glazing bars and have Gothic heads with hood moulding above them on the lower floors. The ground floor includes three-light bay windows, and the doorways are framed by cambered doorcases with stone voussoirs.
