Description

This building is an oasthouse dating from the 19th century, located about 9 metres north of Beltring House. The ground floor is constructed of stowage brick, while the first floor is weatherboarded and features a tile-hung front gable. The kilns are made of brick, and the roofs are covered with plain tiles. The stowage is built at right angles to the road and has two circular kilns at the front (west) gable end. Notable architectural features include a dentilled brick eaves cornice and conical roofs with cowls on the kilns.
