Description

Chequer Tree Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse, with later alterations. It is timber framed, with a front elevation that is pebbledashed, with the first floor of the left gable end weatherboarded. The roof is covered in plain tiles and is half-hipped, with a gablet to the left. A filleted red and grey brick ridge stack is located towards the left end. The windows are irregularly placed, featuring three three-light leaded casements. A ribbed door is set within a gabled pebbledashed porch situated between the central and right-end windows. A single-storey weatherboarded addition extends to the left, featuring two rear boarded doors, one of which has ventilation holes. A similar addition is present at the rear, including a boarded door to the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
