Description
The Pier Public House is a mid-19th century corner building located at Town Pier. It features three windows on the West Street elevation and eleven sash windows on the Town Quay elevation. The building is three storeys tall and constructed of brown brick, topped with a parapet and a moulded eaves cornice. The sash windows retain their glazing bars, with the central sash on the West Street elevation and the second sash on the Town Quay elevation adorned with cornices and brackets. The pub front, dating from the 19th century, includes pilasters and panelled risers. The Pier Public House is part of a group that includes the Town Pier and the Three Daws Public House on High Street.
