Description

The New Falcon Inn, located at 87 West Street, is a mid-19th century building designed in the Italianate style. It stands three storeys high and is constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. The building features a parapet topped with a wide modillion cornice. On the façade, there are three sash windows framed by Italianate architraves, with the first-floor windows adorned with cornices and brackets. The ground floor is rusticated and includes two round-headed windows flanked by two engaged Tuscan columns and pilasters. The New Falcon Inn is part of a group with Nos 87 to 90, with Nos 88 and 90 also recognized for their local interest.
