Description

This is a sixteenth-century timber-framed cottage, originally with red brick infill. It has a tiled roof with gablets. In 1980, an addition was made to the cottage, extending it into an L-shaped house. During more recent work, the original timber frame was reinforced with steelwork, and the brick infill was renewed using a combination of old and new bricks. The roof was stripped for re-tiling, and the windows were replaced.
