Description
This is a headstone located about 18 metres west of the tower of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Elham. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of stone. The headstone features a scrolled top that is intricately carved with winged cherubs' heads, a central skull at the bottom, and decorative foliage. There are two inscription panels: the left side commemorates Patience Ruck, who died in 1756, while the right side honors Daniel Ruck, who died in 1744.
