Description

116-120 High Street is a timber-framed building that was refronted with stucco in the 18th century. However, Nos 118 and 120 have since been refaced with cement. Nos 116 and 118 feature a renewed tile roof and a brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and a hipped tiled roof. There are four sash windows with missing glazing bars and modern shop fronts. Inside, the building contains enriched bressumers. Additionally, there is a modern single-storey addition at the rear of Nos 116 and 118. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 94 to 98, No 102, and Nos 106 to 130.
