Description

This is a small two-storey farmhouse dating from the 17th century.

The ground floor walls are made of red brick with grey headers laid in Flemish bond, while the west range features stretcher bond brickwork. The first floor is tile-hung, and the roofs are covered with clay tiles. There is a brick chimney.

The farmhouse has a rectangular plan, with the long sides facing west and east. It likely started as a single-pile structure, but a west range was added later. A projecting porch is located at the center of the east elevation.

The main two-storey range has a hipped roof with a ridge that features a central chimney stack with corbel courses. The single-storey west range, probably built slightly later, has a catslide roof. This elevation includes two tripartite windows and a door on the ground floor, along with a single window set in an eyebrow dormer on the upper level. The north elevation has a square four-light window and a small single-light window on the ground floor, as well as a bipartite window on the first floor. The east elevation features the central projecting porch with a catslide roof, which contains a door and a ground-floor window. There is a tripartite window on each floor to the north side of the porch, and a single window on the ground floor to the south side; the first floor appears to have been reclad.
