Description
Crammond House is a late 16th century building that has been refaced in yellow brick on the street side, while the rear showcases its original half-timber construction. The structure features a three-storey central block with two wings, all adorned with red rubbed brick arches and a Venetian window on the second floor. The glazing bars are missing. The wings have parapets and tiled roofs behind them. The main entrance includes pilasters, a projecting cornice, and an eight-panel fielded door, with a smaller doorway located on the south wing. Inside, there are Regency stairs, panelling, and some carved stone tablets dating from the early 17th century. Crammond House is part of a group that includes Nos. 3 to 7 (odd) and Nos. 11 to 19 (odd).
