Description
41 and 43 Delf Street is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier. It has two storeys and features two windows, topped with tiled roofs. The construction includes flints, yellow Dutch brick arranged in patterns, and rubble, with brick quoins and remnants of a stringcourse. All the windows are modern, consisting of casements and lead lights. The Delf river runs beneath the pavement in front of the house and flows out into the open in front of the north-west half of the building through the Horse Pond Sluice.
