Description

The Five Bells is an 18th-century public house. It is two storeys and attics in height, built of painted brick. The roof is tiled and has two dormers. The ground floor has four sash windows, although the glazing bars have been lost. A round-headed doorcase provides the entrance. A two-storey stuccoed industrial extension from the 19th century is attached to the right-hand side. The brick side elevation has continuous glazing on the first floor, and a garage entrance is on the ground floor. Nos. 71 to 75 (odd) form a group.
