Description

Wellington House is an early 19th-century building on Mill Road. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick. The right-hand section, one bay wide, is slightly lower than the rest of the building. Four sash windows with intact glazing bars are visible, and three of the upper windows have shutters. A round-headed doorcase features a good trellis-work porch with a canopy above. An eight-foot-high stock brick wall runs alongside, featuring curved wooden railings supported by six square wooden piers, each topped with a ball finial.
