Description

Upper Lodge is the former north-west lodge of the demolished mansion Bifrons, located in Bifrons Park. This early 19th-century cottage orné is one storey and has been rendered, curving to fit the site. It features three gables: the left gable has a canted oriel window, the centre gable contains the doorway supported by barleysugar columns, and the right gable has a casement window. The gables are adorned with carved bargeboards, and there are two ornamental grouped chimney flues.
