Description
Linden House is a mid to late 18th century building located at 944 Linden Grove. It has two storeys, a basement, and dormers, and is finished in stucco with a rusticated ground floor and plinth. The building features stone coping, a stringcourse, and two rainwater heads. The old tiled roof includes three dormers. There are five sash windows set in moulded wooden architraves, with only the top part of the sashes retaining glazing bars. The doorcase has a moulded architrave, a rectangular fanlight, a carriage lamp, and four fielded panels. The basement contains four sliding sashes. At the rear, there is a two-storey extension with a roof that has three hips and three sashes with intact glazing bars. One side elevation is partially weatherboarded, while the other side features a wall made of flint and medieval reused masonry.
